Beach Club
The WaterColor Beach Club is the only beachfront clubhouse pool available to rental guests along 30A. It is the ultimate amenity with three pools, expanded seating on upper and lower decks, and lounge areas. The Beach Club has several food and beverage options onsite, towel service and a charming mercantile with sundries for your pool day. With unobstructed and panoramic views of the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, relaxation and pleasure await you at the Beach Club. Please return towels to the designated drop bins when leaving the Beach Club.

Beach Club Cabanas

• The WaterColor Beach Club has five poolside cabanas available for daily rental by homeowners and rental guests. Each shaded cabana has seating for six people, including a couch and two lounge chairs. Five towels are prepared in each Cabana before guest arrival.

Resort Beach Chairs

• As a guest of WaterColor, you can enjoy the convenience of resort beach chair set-ups. Resort beach chair set-ups include two canvas chairs and an oversized shady umbrella. Due to tides and weather conditions, placement of the beach chair set-ups can change without notice.

• Reservations are recommended. To reserve a Resort Beach Chair set-up, please visit the WaterColor Inn website. 

Camp WaterColor
Camp WaterColor is the ultimate amenity for families vacationing in WaterColor. It features two pools with amazingly fun water slides and a lazy river to relax and float in. With lifeguards on duty, the Camp pools provide a safe atmosphere for a day of fun and water activities. The facility boasts an onsite restaurant and bar to make your day easy and breezy, as it should be on vacation! Towel service is provided at Camp WaterColor. Please return towels to the designated drop bins when leaving Camp WaterColor.

Community Pools
Five additional community pools are located throughout the WaterColor property. Pools are open from 9:00 a.m. to sunset. The Sand Hill pool opens at 6:00 a.m. for lap swimming. Towel service is available at the Marina Pool, in season, Sunday through Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

WaterColor BoatHouse
For active vacationers, check out the WaterColor BoatHouse on Western Lake, a rare coastal dune lake in WaterColor. The BoatHouse Paddle Club specializes in stand-up paddleboarding experiences and "fresh air" fitness programming for the community.

WaterColor Tennis Center
The WaterColor Tennis Center boasts five Har-Tru clay courts and two pickleball courts. The award-winning tennis facility offers private lessons, group lessons, clinics, and support services. The onsite Pro Shop has tennis wear, accessories, tennis balls, rackets, and racket stringing services.

Entertainment and Eventful Happenings in WaterColor
WaterColor hosts a variety of event programming throughout the year. Events are a wonderful way to enhance your stay and experience the community's charm. During the summer months, additional programming is offered for rental guests to keep you happy and entertained.

The Beach Club expansion tripled the pool deck size to better meet the demand put on the Beach Club during peak times. Phase 1, the existing pool deck, was completed in July 2019. Phase 2, the new pools, were completed in May 2020. By constructing two new pools and enhancing the poolside food service, the WaterColor Beach Club is sure to be the highlight of any visit.

Pools: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Beach Club Gates: 

• Open 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Daily

• Gates are open daily for homeowners only from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and open to rental guests at 8:30 a.m. 

• Rental guests who have Cabana reservations will be permitted to access their Cabana at 8:00 a.m. on the reservation date.

Beach Club Dining Options
The Beach Club has several food and beverage options, ranging from casual dining like the WaterColor Grill to trendy lounges and beachside bars like Costa Chica and the Tiki Bar. WaterColor Beach Services
Owners and guests of WaterColor enjoy private access to the sugar-white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The beaches are accessed via multiple access-controlled dune crossovers. Need-to-Know Information

• Guests 5 years and older must wear a guest wristband to enter the Beach Club or Camp WaterColor. Children under age five will be provided with a paper wristband.

• Homeowners should wear a homeowner wristband and may bring up to two guests into the Beach Club or Camp WaterColor.

• Homeowners and guests must check in and check out at the Beach Club and Camp WaterColor with their wristbands.

• Coolers, glasses, and any outside food and/or beverage are strictly prohibited at the WaterColor Beach Club and Camp WaterColor.

Beach Rules & Etiquette

• Do not set up personal beach chairs/blankets in front of designated WaterColor beach chairs.

• No tents above 36" in height are allowed on the beach.

• Ask for assistance before moving WaterColor umbrellas.

• Leave the beach as you found it. Pick up trash and all belongings before leaving.

• Do not leave towels on the beach. 

• Help protect our wildlife and fill holes dug in the sand before leaving.

• Be mindful of those around you and keep the music volume at a reasonable setting.

• No glass containers are allowed.

• There are no lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk.

Pricing

All pricing and policies are based on availability and subject to change. Rates are subject to applicable taxes. Beach chair assignments and locations are subject to availability and may change at any time without notice.  All WaterColor Inn guests and WaterColor Homeowners receive $15 off the daily rate. To comply with Walton County's Beach Ordinance, umbrella and beach chair setups are available daily from 9 AM - 5 PM (March - July) and 9 AM- 4 PM (August- February), to protect sea turtle nesting. Sunset Chair Experiences are available from 5:30- 6:30 PM (June & July).

Refunds/Cancellation Policies

Full payment is required at the time of reserving your Beach Set. We require notice of cancellation at least 48 hours PRIOR to the first day of your rental to receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation within the 48 hours of the first day of your rental, you will forfeit 100% of your beach rental.

Additional Info

The use of personal beach equipment (including chairs, umbrellas, etc.) is allowed, but they must not be placed in front of WaterColor Beach Setups. 

Personal beach equipment may be placed behind WaterColor Sets or on the adjacent public beach and may not be left there overnight.

Please note that there is a ADA accessible ramp available on the west boardwalk at WaterColor Beach Club to access the WaterColor Beach.  

Biking & Hiking

Whether you have plans for a day of hiking or biking, the WaterColor Bike Barn staff will be happy to help out with maps and excursion information on the extensive woodland trail system, where you can explore miles of scenic nature trails on winding paths through preserved state park forests, picturesque gardens and around rare coastal dune lakes.

Adjacent to the WaterColor BoatHouse, the Bike Barn is located at 533 Western Lake Drive; and provides bicycles of all sizes and bike trailers (two-kid capacity).  Call  1-866-651-1869 for more information.

Kayaks & SUP Rentals at WaterColor BoatHouse

The WaterColor BoatHouse, managed by The BoatHouse Paddle Club, offers several ways to explore the natural wildlife that inhabits our area on Western Lake, one of several coastal dune lakes in this area. The BoatHouse is open daily from 9 AM - 4 PM (seasonal hours apply) and is located directly on the banks of Western Lake; just a short walk from WaterColor Inn through Cerulean Park.

The BoatHouse also offers stand up paddleboarding (SUP), an easy-to-learn, low impact activity suitable for anyone from children to seniors wanting to to explore the natural beauty of WaterColor from a unique vantage point.  SUP rentals are available for a discounted fee for hotel guests.

Golf Carts

WaterColor allows LSVs to be rented through one company. Electric Cart Company can be reached at 850-622-2000. There is a limit of 80 LSVs allowed for rental on property. If that limit is met, no additional golf carts may be rented. If you are visiting for a holiday, we recommend booking with as much notice as possible. Electric Cart Company is the exclusive vendor for LSVs. Any other rental company LSVs found on property are subject to towing.

WaterColor Tennis offers on-site Pros with a combined 80+ years of tennis coaching experience.  Private and group lessons are available upon request, while daily Adult Tennis Clinics are offered seven days a week, 365 days a year.  You will also find a full-service Pro shop filled with tennis apparel, gifts, and gear for both tennis & pickleball.
